Harry Pass
CEO & Creative Director
Harry is CEO & Creative Director of Art Story and first joined its parent company 20 years ago. During this time, the organisation has grown from a team of 15 to 50 people and has evolved into a global art consultancy with its own workshops. His project work has taken him from Dubai to Zürich and New York to London, for clients including Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria and Hyatt Unbound. Discovering local artists is a huge passion and he encourages the Art Story team to take unexpected detours whilst getting to know locations and their art scenes. Harry has enjoyed collaborating with leading global design firms, including Richmond International, GA Design, Martin Brudnizki, 22 Degrees and David Collins. A fascination with Guest Experience has guided his career since his first job as a commis-chef, working for Philip Howard at the 2 Michelin* The Square. Harry is a permanent student of Art and Business and has recently graduated from the UK Goldman Sachs 10KSB programme, with a clear vision for continued investment in Art Story. Playing piano, painting canvases with his children and trail running in the mountains help Harry to re-fill his cup.
Clare Howlett
Head of Art & Design
As Head of Art & Design, Clare oversees a dynamic team of 12 creatives, ranging from graduate-artists to seasoned Senior Designers, developing bespoke art collections from initial spark to final creation. She also enjoys leading regular collaborations with fine artists and sculptors. Clare has fostered creative talent across 30 years of diverse experience, ascending from Designer to Creative Director. An authority on printmaking, her fascination with colour is almost obsessive. She dedicated a significant portion of her career to running a colour-development studio that crafted wallpaper collections for globally recognised high-end interior brands. All of which has fuelled her passion for interior aesthetics and transforming spaces with art in projects such as W Edinburgh and Ritz Carlton Abama. Any conversation with Clare that moves away from fine art will inevitably go onto live music and if you were playing live at a gig, you would want her to be in your crowd.
